Drake Tops 2018 Bet Hip Hop Nomination List


The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards nominations list has been released and Drake is leading the list with 11 nominations. The Canadian superstar has enjoyed a successful career in 2018.
Following the release of his double album, Scorpion, Drake has earned nods for ‘Lyricist of the Year,’ ‘MVP of the Year,’ ‘Sweet 16,’ ‘Album of the Year,’ ‘Hot Ticket Performer,’ ‘Hustler of the Year,’ ‘Best Collabo,’ alongside two additional nods in the ‘Best Hip-Hop Video,’ and ‘Single of the Year’ categories.
Cardi B, follows closely with 10 nominations of her successful debut release, Invasion of Privacy, the rapper bags 10 nods including ‘Best Hip-Hop Video,’ ‘Album of the Year,’ ‘MVP of the Year,’ ‘Single of the Year,’ ‘Hot Ticket Performer,’ ‘Made-You-Look Award,’ ‘Hustler of the Year,’ ‘Best Collabo’ and 2 nods in the ‘Sweet 16’ category.
Childish Gambino follows with 6 nominations on the third spot, the rapper who released the controversial video, ‘This is America’ earlier in the year gets nods for ‘Hot Ticket Performer,’ ‘Lyricist of the Year,’ ‘MVP of the Year,’ ‘Best Hip-Hop Video,’ and ‘Single of The Year.’
The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards will take place at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Fleason Theatre on October 6th.

Ethan Ampadu Signs Five Year Extension Deal With Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder, Ethan Ampadu  has signed a new five year contract extension with the club, on Wednesday. Ampadu, who plays for Wales has been battling to settle in the starting line up of Chelsea’s coach, Maurizio Sarri this season. The player in time past had stated that he was putting all efforts together so has to be included in the starting line up of the club. “ I’m really proud and happy, ” ESPN quoted Ampadu as saying. “ I’m looking forward to the next five years and all I have got to do now is continue to work hard, and hopefully good things will happen .”
